A total of 21 hawker centres across Singapore will close for one to three days next week (Sept 7 to Sept 13) for cleaning.
According to the National Environmental Agency, such cleaning is conducted regularly so that Singaporeans can enjoy affordable food in a clean and hygienic environment.
The hawker centres undergoing cleaning include People’s Park Food Centre, Geylang Serai Market, One Punggol Hawker Centre among others.
