How To Romance Crake In The Blood Of Dawnwalker

Are you wishing you could romance Crake in The Blood of Dawnwalker? This formidable warrior also happens to be the leader of the Manumits, a group of rebels seeking to overthrow the vrakhiri in Vale Sangora. What starts out as mere camaraderie between Coen and Crake might develop into something deeper.

The Blood of Dawnwalker – Crake romance guide

It’s going to take a bit of effort before you can romance Crake in The Blood of Dawnwalker. That’s because you have to join the Manumits first. Here’s a quick summary:

  • Straight out of the prologue, you could try to complete The Firebrand quest.
  • This leads to another mission called Shadows in the Woods, which is where you’ll meet the Manumits: Crake, Drogos, and Sara.
  • The Manumits don’t trust Coen yet, so you have to prove yourself to them by increasing your Infamy level. Once you reach level 4 (Notorious), the quest step for Where Loyalty Lies will change. You’ll be able to enter the Manumits hideout and proceed with the next steps.

What Hunts the Night

You’ll have an opportunity to learn more about Crake during What Hunts the Night. When Coen and Crake decide to hide in a building, there are dialogue options where you can have Crake open up more.

  • “Do you want to talk about Sara?”
  • “You sure? You look upset.”
  • “I know what it’s like to lose someone.” – If you’ve already completed Home Sweet Home, then you can talk a bit about Coen’s past trauma.
  • “Maybe we could talk about them instead.”
  • “Alin loved apples.”
Coen and Crake have a little bonding time hiding from soldiers.

What Moves the Dead

The next part of the Crake romance in The Blood of Dawnwalker takes place in What Moves the Dead. After Coen and Crake escape from the crypts, you’ll have the option to “walk him back to the hideout.” This costs 1x Time Segment, but you’ll also learn that Crake’s real name is Marat.
