Who Should Receive Farkas’ Ring In The Blood Of Dawnwalker

Are you having doubts as to who should receive Farkas’ Ring in The Blood of Dawnwalker? Farkas, the jester for Mad Khan Bakir, has a deal for you. Of course, it’s up to you if you want to push through with the idea or if you feel like you should renege on it. But if you change your mind, you’ll have to find someone who’ll take the item.

The Ring quest – Should Farkas or someone else get the ring?

The Ring in The Blood of Dawnwalker is actually a follow-up mission. Your main objective is to defeat the Mad Khan, Bakir, as part of the Lunar Game quest. Here’s a brief rundown:

Once you’ve angered Bakir, his jester, Farkas, will approach you and hatch a plan. This leads to the Lunar Game quest where you have to become the sole survivor of a deadly maze.
Farkas just wants you to bring him an item, a ring with an amethyst that’s supposed to be a family heirloom.
If you can enter Bakir’s treasure room and beat him there, you’ll find said item–also known as the Ring with the Purple Eye–on one of the shelves.

What happens if you give the ring to Farkas?

At first glance, you might just want to hand over the ring to Farkas in The Blood of Dawnwalker. If you talk to him, he’ll say that Bakir gravely abused his younger brother, and the ring might be the only thing that could reverse his condition. That seems like a noble cause.

There’s just one problem: The ring has demonic runes inscribed on it, and Farkas has absolutely no clue about arcane rituals. Giving it to him is going to be a huge risk. Still, if you decide to do it, just know that things won’t bode well for Farkas and his brother, as you’ll find out much later at the end of the game.

Who else can take the ring?

Of course, you can also choose not to give the item to Farkas. This will kickstart The Ring quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. Your goal is to find someone who knows more about the ring, which means looking for people who dabble in magic and sorcery.

Note: As of the time of this writing, we know of three NPCs that can receive the item. Note that giving the ring to them does cost 2x Time Segments.

Anca

You can give the ring to Anca at the Crossroads Inn. She’ll destroy it and hand you the Quick Fighter’s Ring as a replacement. It’s an epic accessory that has maximum human health, human health restoration, and swordmastery ability cooldown.

Bakr-Erga, the Uriash Matriarch

Alternatively, you can give the item to the Uriash Matriarch, provided that you’ve already discovered the Hidden Uriash Village as part of the Song of the Mountain quest. You’ll receive the Vrakhir’s Endurance, an epic amulet that has physical damage reduction, magical damage reduction, and blood drinking restoration.

Sanzhani Tsarina

Lastly, you can hand over the accessory to the Sanzhani Tsarina, assuming you’ve already done the Good Home/Letters to Lunka questline. Surprisingly enough, the Tsarina still gives you the Vrakhir’s Endurance amulet, similar to what you’d get from the Uriash Matriarch.
