Another F&B business in Singapore is calling it a day, with Fei Zhu Lok Lok announcing its upcoming closure in an Instagram post on Tuesday (Sept 1).
“It’s with a heavy heart that we’ll be closing Fei Zhu Lok Lok, and our last day of operation will be on Sept 13,” wrote the Malaysian-style eatery in the announcement, while thanking customers for their support over the years.
In a separate post on Wednesday, co-founder and local influencer Phyllis Seah appeared to shed more light on the reason for closure.
“To be honest, the F&B industry in Singapore is really, really tough. Unless you have a huge organisation or strong financial backing behind you, it’s really tiring,” she wrote.

“After thinking about it for a long time, I’ve finally decided to close all my outlets and bring this chapter to an end.”
Fei Zhu Lok Lok currently has two outlets — one at Ang Mo Kio and another at Toa Payoh.
