The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority said in a follow-up post at 12.46pm that heavy departure traffic at Woodlands Checkpoint has subsided.
Checks by AsiaOne on the Land Transport Authority’s traffic cameras at 1.10pm show smooth traffic at the Causeway, Woodlands Crossing and Woodlands Flyover.
Travellers departing Singapore via Woodlands Checkpoint are advised that there is currently “very heavy departure traffic” due to tailback from Malaysia.
In an advisory posted on its social media at 11.14am on Wednesday (Sept 2), the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said travellers should expect delays.
They are also advised to check traffic conditions before embarking on their journey.
