SINGAPORE – A bridal studio that was recently closed has been taken to court by the Central Provident Fund Board for allegedly not paying the CPF contributions of its employees.
It had detected “non-payment of CPF contributions when (Korea Artiz Studio) failed to make payment by the deadline in July 2026”, the board, the Ministry of Manpower and Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management (TADM) said in a joint statement on Aug 28.
Also, the MOM is investigating the studio for possible offences on non-payment of salaries, while TADM is arranging for mediation, after it received salary claims from five of the studio’s employees between Aug 10 and Aug 18.
