How did we get such competitive broadband prices?

Broadband prices in Singapore are easily among the most affordable in the world, and a lot of this is thanks to IMDA’s push to develop the next-gen Nationwide Broadband Network (NBN) to bring affordable 1Gbps connectivity a decade ago, and more recently, to bring 10Gbps to all homes to truly equip everyone for the next leap of possibilities.

By 2024, you could get 10Gbps broadband plans for less than S$50 per month, but little did we expect prices to dip below S$30 – even from the leading telco service provider, Singtel.
