That means the entire Singapore Sports Hub — not limited to the National Stadium, the Singapore Indoor Stadium, OCBC Arena, OCBC Aqua Centre, Water Sports Centre, and even Kallang Wave Mall — will have Wi-Fi 7 connectivity that can be enjoyed by visitors, concertgoers, attendees, athletes, performers, shoppers, and more.

“This new Wi-Fi network is an important infrastructure investment that will lay a strong foundation for our digital transformation at the Singapore Sports Hub. With this infrastructure, we are enabling unparalleled connectivity to drive cutting-edge, immersive, and personalised digital experiences for all.”

Quek Swee Kuan, Chief Executive Officer, Kallang Alive Sport Management

The Wi-Fi 7 rollout across all of Singapore Sports Hub’s venues and spaces will be conducted in stages and is expected to be completed by H1 2026.

The access point is also compatible with the 6 GHz spectrum and also capable of outdoor 6GHz connectivity. For uptime, it features both power- and link-redundant dual multi-gigabit Ethernet ports with speeds of up to 10 Gbps, which mitigate connection issues during a failover.

“We believe the future of live events will be defined by seamless, AI-powered, secure connectivity. With Cisco’s Wi-Fi 7 technology, we are setting a new benchmark for secure, high-performance networks that power immersive fan experiences and help scale operations – even in the most demanding environments.”

Tay Bee Kheng, President, Cisco ASEAN.
