A 59-year-old man was arrested on Thursday (Aug 20) night for allegedly stealing a lorry which was stopped along Jalan Bukit Merah.

The incident happened at about 7.15pm on Thursday, the police said in a news release on Friday.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the male lorry driver and his staff were unloading supplies from the lorry when the man approached him and complained that the lorry was obstructing his way.

While boarding the lorry, the man allegedly pushed a staff who tried to stop him to the ground.
