Goh Hock Siang, the chairman of Goh Joo Hin, died on Thursday (Aug 13) at the age of 87.
He was the second-generation chairman of the company, a local brand known for its distribution of New Moon, including abalone, its flagship product.
According to obituaries published on Friday, he passed away peacefully, leaving behind four sons and a daughter.
Other prominent brands under Goh Joo Hin’s portfolio include Mili, Skippy, Sony and GP Batteries, with a market presence in at least 17 other countries.
