[NEW MICHELIN LAKSA WORTH THE HYPE?!] 👀 Finally tried the new Michelin-listed laksa stall, King of Laksa 👑🍜 located at Food Gallery in Block 112 Aljunied Ave 2. This husband-and-wife duo serves a lighter version of laksa with no added salt, sugar, MSG or preservatives. Even during off-peak hours, there was an insanely long queue and I ended up waiting about an hour 😅 I got the “Pampering Myself” ($10), which comes with both prawns and cockles. You can also get the standard bowl ($6), with prawns or cockles ($8), or add extra cockles for $2. The portion was pretty generous, but the real highlight for me was the cockles! Extremely fresh, plump and juicy! The prawns were also thick and nicely deshelled for you. The broth is lighter and more coconut-milky than your usual laksa, but still rich and creamy, while the homemade chilli added a nice hit of umami without being too spicy 🍜 Overall, a really satisfying bowl and worth the price point! Just avoid peak mealtimes unless you’re ready to queue 😅 ✨Save this spot for your next laksa craving and let me know if it’s worth the hype! 📍 King of Laksa Blk 118 Aljunied Ave 2, 02-100 Food Gallery Above ShengSiong, Singapore 380118 #kingoflaksa #michelinguide2026 #hawkerhunt #laksa #sgeats
