not an activation for spider-man: brand new day… š Galymzhan Abaildayev, 44, jumped from the top of the Brooklyn Bridge on Aug. 2 in front of stunned onlookers and miraculously survived the fall. According to the New York Post, he scaled to the top at around 2:30pm, attached several flags to the bridge before stripping naked and jumping off. Abaildayev was seen holding a bag above his head, apparently using it as a makeshift parachute for the more than 80m plunge. He was later rescued by the NYPD Harbor Unit and taken to hospital in stable condition. In a statement to NBC News, the New York Police Department said Abaildayev has been charged with reckless endangerment, graffiti, public lewdness, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. #mothershipabroad
