Four Galaxy Zs to choose from, but only one pair of hands
By our count, Samsung has four different types of viable foldable phones at this juncture: the Galaxy Z TriFold, which repeatedly sold out in late 2025, two tried-and-tested form factors that got their 2026 refresh (Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8), and a brand new, passport-shaped Galaxy Z Fold8 that’s the talk of the foldable town.
Surely there must be a reason they now have more foldable models than conventional premium-tier devices, and why they are seemingly so well received. Did they also troubleshoot the creases and make the folding much less fragile? This confidence must come from somewhere.
