A motorcyclist posted a warning in a Tampines carpark after his cashcard was stolen from the on-board unit (OBU) on Oct 3.
The notice taped to a pillar read: “To whoever who broke open my OBU and stole my cashcard (not the first time), I have reported it to the police and LTA (Land Transport Authority), and they are investigating this.
“Please be reminded that Singapore is littered with CCTV all around. FYI, this is considered as vandalism and theft.”
The notice then lists the punishment for the offences, which included jail and caning.
