The Marvel star shed a little more light on the trailer that showed Steve Rogers holding a baby, and it only made things more confusing.

We got the chance to speak with Atwell after her appearance at San Diego Comic Con, where we asked her about that teaser and what it means for her and Rogersā€™ storyline.

ā€œWhether that is reality or a dream or fantasy or a warning, who knows? But the image of that, the symbolism of that, shows the beating heart of this story is human relationships. The stakes could not be higher when the family is threatened or the family is in danger. ā€¦But itā€™s essentially about people loving each other.ā€

Itā€™s seeming more and more likely that Doomā€™s motivation in this movie is to make his enemies suffer and lose the things they love mostā€¦ and in this case, that could be Steveā€™s new family.

For now, things are left up in the air, and not much else was shown off as far as Doomsday goes at the Hall H panel. It seems Marvel is keeping things heavily under wrap until the Doomsday clock runs out on December 18, 2026.
