
While a video message last week from Vin Diesel in costume as Dominic Torreto – and standing in front of the character’s iconic black 1970 Dodge Charger R/T – appeared to suggest production was finally officially underway on Fast & Furious 11 (officially known as Fast Forever), TheWrap is reporting that this is not the case.
Last Friday, Diesel shared a video message via his Instagram account thanking fans for their patience regarding the final installment of the Fast & Furious series.
“I’m on set,” said Diesel in his behind-the-scenes recording. “People are grinding. Incredible crews are working. I wanted to take a second to say thank you. You guys are the best audience in the world; best fans in the world. You’ve been patient to the industry, you’ve been patient to the studio, and you’ve been patient with me.”
