Samsung has unveiled a major update to its Samsung Health app, introducing a redesigned interface and a suite of new AI-powered health and fitness features.
Streamlined and personalised interface
Samsung Health now features a cleaner, more intuitive interface organised around five core wellness pillars: Sleep, Activity, Nutrition, Mindfulness, and Vitals.
Samsung has also refreshed several existing health metrics. Antioxidant Index now provides a clearer picture of users’ nutritional intake. At the same time, the AGEs Index uses overnight measurements to build a long-term assessment of how lifestyle habits may be affecting the body.
Vitals

One of the biggest additions is Vitals, which continuously analyses five overnight biometric signals: heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, skin temperature, and blood oxygen levels.
The feature compares each night’s readings against the user’s personal baseline. When meaningful deviations are detected, Samsung Health can notify users that they may need additional rest or that their body could be showing early signs of illness.
