Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders and release date

Set in the fictional state of Leonida, GTA VI returns players to a modern-day Vice City. The story follows protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a criminal duo who find themselves caught in a sprawling conspiracy that stretches across the state. Rockstar has described the title as its largest and most immersive open-world game to date.

Expectations surrounding GTA VI remain extraordinarily high. Its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto V, has sold more than 200 million copies since its debut in 2013, making it one of the best-selling video games ever released. Industry analysts have already projected that GTA VI could generate billions of dollars in revenue within its first year on sale.

Rockstar has also confirmed both Standard and Ultimate editions of the game, where the latter comes with an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons and apparels. All GTA VI pre-orders and purchases before 20 November will also get the Vintage Vice City Pack, a collection of items that flash back to when the neon burned brightest.

While the game will only be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles at launch, a PC version is expected to be launched later.
