BTS Fan’s Dad Tried Using His SAFRA Membership To Buy Her Concert Tickets During ARMY Pre-Sale

As the dust settles from last week’s chaotic BTS Singapore ticket sales, social media continues to be flooded with stories from battle-scarred fans who survived the Great Ticketmaster War, according to some fans.

One such fan, named Nova, may have shared what is arguably the most Singaporean BTS ticket story of them all.

In a now-viral Instagram video, the 23-year-old artist recounted how her father suddenly burst into her room while she was trying to secure tickets during the BTS ARMY membership pre-sale.

The reason? He believed he could help.

“I didn’t even ask, [and] he just burst into my room like this, he said, ‘There’s an ARMY membership presale, I have ARMY membership’,” she shared.

At first, Nova immediately dismissed the idea, before he declared, “I served this nation!”

If you don’t know by now, ARMY in the BTS universe refers to their fans.

“My immediate reaction was ‘No you don’t’ It was a pretty deadpan reaction, and immediately I was like 90% sure there was some kind of misunderstanding,” she tells 8days.sg

Nova also shared with us that she ended up explaining to her dad the intricacies of how the fandom for every K-pop group has a name.
