The ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20 motherboard builds on the existing ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial motherboard’s design, but with a different colour scheme. The motherboard supports AMD’s Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 desktop processors running on the AM5 socket, with four DIMM slots that can run a total of 256GB of DDR5 RAM.
For storage, it can support up to nine M.2 slots, with four SATA 6Gb/s ports and support for RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 configurations. There are two Realtek 10Gb Ethernet ports onboard, which lets you take full advantage of 10Gbps broadband plans if you’re running a wired connection. In addition, you get plenty of I/O ports on the back panel, with two USB4 (type-C) ports, 12 USB 10Gbps ports (eight Type-A, four Type-C), and audio jacks and outputs.
