Lian LI HydroShift II OLED Curved Cooler

Lian Li has certainly been getting its money’s worth, wherever its sourcing its screens from. Joining the likes of the US88v1 and the plethora of PC cases with built-in displays, the company has recently announced a new AIO cooler, the HydroShift II OLED Curved, with (you guessed it) an OLED screen as the centrepiece.

It’s a 6.67-inch curved panel, to be precise. It’s also an upgrade over the company’s other HydroShift coolers that also come with screens – particularly the LCD-C and LCD-S, which come with smaller IPS displays.

But while Lian Li tends to be more experimental with sticking screens in its products, this time, the new HydroShift II has its fair share of direct competitors. These include ASUS ROG’s Ryuo IV 360 cooler and the TRYX Panorama SE 360, both of which, similar to Lian Li’s newest cooler, also feature 6.67-inch curved OLED displays at 2K resolutions.

The HydroShift II OLED Curved does have a trick up its sleeve, particularly its motorised display; it can be lifted or horizontally tilted (shown in the video above), which helps with 3D content as the perspective in which you view the display isn’t fixed. The display unit is also mounted onto the CPU block via pogo pin magnets, and can be removed from the cooler entirely (which may be useful when actually installing the cooler).
