Jurong’s Pasar Malam is back at block 694, 23 May – 7 June! We were invited down and tried some new things and returned for some of our ultimate favourites 😄 Cheese Corndog (@KwazyKorndog ) Full mozzarella cheese corndog coated in their signature fluffy batter with panko, we added on spicy Buldakk mayo for some kick and it was the best decision we made hahaha. The cheese pull for their full cheese corndogs never let us down!! Chicken Satay Goreng (Best Satay Goreng) – I loooove satay, and theirs was really juicy, sweet, would’ve loved it if it had abit more salt to balance out the flavours! Sea Salt Cloud Matcha (Kon Kon Matcha) – Nutty and creamy matcha, topped with a cloud like sea salt foam. Loved the salty vanilla aspect the foam brought, and it went well with the smooth matcha. Personally I prefer my matcha with abit more punch and robustness so I think I’ll try their more affordable grade matcha next time! Kway Teow Goreng (@Quicky sg ) – I really appreciate Quicky for always keeping their costs low, their kway Teow goreng is one of my favs to get when I see them, very filling and affordable! Beef Chilli Padi Salted Egg Bak Chang (@sarahs dumplings ) – Was such a pleasant surprise to see Halal Dumplings in SG! Sticky glutinous rice, with a beef chilli padi and salted egg yolk filling. Very nostalgic, but I do notice they tweaked the recipe to suit the Malay tastebuds abit more. Def trying their other flavours next time!
