Woodlands Pasar Malam seems to be a go-to for the residents in the area, and I was kindly invited down to munch on some new dishes! Grilled Oysters – Came in an assortment of toppings like garlic chilli, chilli crab! Oysters themselves were pleasantly briny, slight iron notes with a creamy mouthfeel. Really enjoyed them! The scallops were a pass however Pistachio Matcha Latte (@KON-KON MATCHA ) – Pistachio Milk Matcha topped with a Pistachio cold foam. The matcha itself was well done, however it did get abit lost as the pistachio was quite strong. Interesting flavour combo however! Beef Birria Tacos (@alpapis) – Can never go wrong with these! tender & beefy, with a very chunky consommé made from imported smoked chillis. Always my fav!! Strawberry Matcha Tiramisu & Tintin Banana Pudding (@Sugar Mama Lah ) – Light strawberry cream layered between matcha-soaked ladyfingers. Loved how light this tasted! the banana pudding was really good too, the packaging was the cutest hahahah Overall, they had really interesting dishes, but the price point is def on the higher side.
