The Redmagic 11 Pro launches in China with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor

Nubia’s gaming sub-brand, Redmagic, has launched the 11 Pro gaming smartphone in China. What’s particularly interesting about the 11 Pro is that it’s only the second Android device to run on Qualcomm’s very-latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor – just after the also-very-new Xiaomi 17 series. As with past Redmagic phone launches, an international release of the 11 Pro is expected to follow soon.

Specs wise, the Redmagic 11 Pro is available in several configurations – from 12GB+256GB to a monstrous 24GB+1TB in memory and storage – and comes in Transparent Black, Transparent Silver, standard Black, and Silver. Redmagic also claims the device will have PC-like gaming power thanks to LPDDR5T RAM, UFS 4.1 Pro storage, and the RedCore R4 chip that works with its Ultra Graphics Engine 3.0 to upscale over 200 games to 2K@144Hz. Keeping all that power in check is a dual water-and-air cooling system, while the 8,000mAh battery and BOE X10-based Full-Screen 2.0 display are built for long gaming sessions.
