Samsung adds Moomin collection to their Art TVs, like OLEDs and The Frame

Samsung announced its new collaboration between its Samsung Art Store and the iconic Moomin series, letting people show off their Samsung Art TVs (like The Frame) with cute, white, hippo-shaped trolls from Finland.

As announced on the Samsung newsroom, the partnership brought forth 60 pieces of Moomin artwork that can be display on Samsung Art TVs. This includes models like The Frame series, Neo QLED 8K series, Micro LED series, and QLED series TVs — all of which are popular choices in Singapore. The newsroom also said that OLED models would be included as Art TVs this year.

A perk of Samsung Art Store (the app that lets you download artwork to display on your Samsung Art TV) is that all artwork is certified and officially licensed, and it’s Pantone-validated for colour and authenticity. 

Specific to the Moomin art is that it borrows the illustrations from the original artist and writer (Tove Jansson), so you’re getting Moomin art from the original novels since the 1940s, up to the more recent watercolour and picture book ones.

The rest of Samsung’s announcement waxes lyrical on how popular Moomin characters are, which is pretty much the whole point of wanting to display them on your expensive TV.

The Moomin collection is available for download globally on the Samsung Art Store, starting from 18 May 2026 onwards.
