Several posts of business owners in Singapore making allegations against a Singapore marketing agency, BrandTok, have gone viral. They claim the owner of the agency, Sam Heedy, took payment for online media packages and failed to deliver videos as promised.
Most are still seeking resolution, despite having made claims at the Small Claims Tribunal, while others have made police reports.
Business owners take to socials to air grievances
One of them is a Singapore business owner who claimed she “lost S$25,000 working with [local marketing agency BrandTok]”. In a TikTok post, HiCoach’s owner Joanne Sia alleged that despite paying for a content package, the results fell far short of what was promised.
Joanne, 27, who runs the business with her partner Joshua Tan, also 27, said BrandTok, run by Sam Heedy, whose real name is Noor Hidayat Samion, had proposed delivering 60 videos over three months.
Joanne shared screenshots showing an invoice paid on September 18, 2025, and alleged that by January 2026, no videos had been delivered within the initial three-month period. Eventually, seven videos were produced, but she claimed they did not meet her expectations.
Speaking to 8days.sg, Joanne says even the project manager assigned by the company to them, Madhu, could not contact Sam.
“Madhu mentioned she will be in touch to try to get Sam on the call. After many days of postponement, we still could not get hold of him,” she says, showing us screenshots of their conversation.
