2 men charged over corruption involving improper waste disposal in Tuas


SINGAPORE – A transportation company director allegedly took part in a corrupt arrangement to have 10 loads of chicken compost improperly disposed of in Tuas South Way.

Singaporean Kee Yuet Ting, 40, who was from KYT Transport at the time, is accused of agreeing to give Hossain Toufik a bribe of $50 for every lorry load of the waste.

Hossain, 34, who is a Bangladeshi, was then a site supervisor at a company called Koh Civil Engineering.
