Making Singapore-Style Hokkien Mee — Part 2 Now for the cooking. No exact measurements — just cook by feel. Ingredients • 6 tbsp lard • 5 cloves garlic • 4 eggs • Yellow noodles (2 handfuls) • Bee hoon (2 handfuls) • Fish cake, prawns, pork belly, squid • Chives (1 handful) • Bean sprouts (1 handful) • Fish sauce, soy sauce • Pork & seafood stock Method 1. Fry garlic in lard, add eggs and scramble. 2. Add noodles and char slightly. 3. Add proteins and fish cake. 4. Season, add stock, and simmer ~5 mins. 5. Finish with chives and bean sprouts.
