Man who allegedly set bikes alight in Jurong charged with committing mischief by fire


SINGAPORE – A man who allegedly set bicycles alight in Yung Kuang Road in Jurong, and was caught within two hours, has been charged with committing mischief by fire.

Hamzah Hambali, 40, who appeared in a district court on April 23, is accused of committing the offence shortly before 4pm on April 21.

According to court documents, he was at a staircase landing on the 10th floor of Block 166 Yung Kuang Road that day when he allegedly set fire to two bicycles.
