Singapore plans flight levy | Travelnews


Singapore plans to introduce a levy on all departing flights after Parliament passed a Bill on October 14.

The levy will be collected by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and will be used to procure and manage SAF for airlines operating out of the country. The levy aims for 1% green jet fuel usage at Changi and Seletar Airports by 2026.
