Singapore’s Grace Fu to Lead South America Mission on Carbon Credits and Agri-Food Trade

A key part of the visit is the carbon credits business mission. It seeks to develop projects under Article 6 carbon credit agreements, which support international cooperation in reducing emissions. Minister Fu will also host networking sessions and visit a carbon credits project site.

The agri-food mission will look at improving food trade and partnerships. Grace Fu is expected to visit food production facilities approved by the Singapore Food Agency to ensure quality and safety standards.

The delegation includes officials from several agencies such as the National Climate Change Secretariat, Enterprise Singapore, and the National Environment Agency, along with business representatives from the Meat Traders’ Association.

The mission reflects Singapore’s continued efforts to strengthen global partnerships and promote sustainable development.
