Singapore travellers now have a new way to find their next flight, and it does not involve a single dropdown menu or date picker. Skyscanner, the global travel search platform used by 160 million travellers every month, has launched its app inside the ChatGPT App Store, extending its flight comparison engine into one of the world’s most widely used AI platforms.
While announced globally earlier, the Singapore rollout was confirmed on 8 April 2026.
The mechanics are deliberately simple. Users install the Skyscanner app through the ChatGPT App Store, then prompt it conversationally, something like: “@skyscanner find me the cheapest flight from Singapore to New York in December.” Live flight results are returned within the chat, displayed clearly so travellers can review prices and routes in real time.

From there, they can refine their search by adjusting dates, departure airports or destinations through follow-up messages. The goal, as Skyscanner frames it, is to make planning feel more like a conversation than filling out a traditional search form.
“We’ve been at the forefront of cutting-edge flight search, ensuring that travellers have all the right tools to reduce friction and give them more confidence to find the right flight for them,” says Piero Sierra, Skyscanner’s Chief AI Officer, who is leading the company’s broader AI strategy.
