Petit Planet, HoYoverse’s answer to the cozy life sim trend, recently had its first closed beta in October last year. Now, it’s getting its second closed beta, titled the Stardrift Test, with signups open now.
If you recall the premise behind Petit Planet, each player has a planet to themselves to call home. Aside from the player, every planet is populated with NPCs, called Neighbors, which altogether forms a little community for you to take care of.
Usual day-to-day activities include farming, fishing and cooking, and you can also complete small quests for your Neighbors. This earns you Luca, an in-game resource that acts as a planet’s ‘life energy’, adding new areas to a planet and generally making it look more vibrant.
