Mediacorp to offer all 104 World Cup matches from S$98

Subscribers will be able to stream the matches on existing devices like smart TVs, tablets and smartphones via mewatch.

Activation of subscriptions is instant, and subscriptions are contract-free.

Mediacorp said on Feb 5 that it had secured exclusive rights to the tournament, and would be providing free coverage of 28 of the tournament’s 104 matches on Channel 5 and mewatch.

This is an increase from the nine games it covered free-to-air at the 2022 World Cup.

The 28 matches comprise the opening match, 23 other group-stage matches, both semi-finals, the third-place playoff and the final.

Argentina will go into the tournament as the defending champions, having beaten France in the 2022 World Cup final.
