Speaking at Singapore World Water Day 2026 event held at Suntec City Atrium, Singapore’s Coordinating Minister for Public Services and Minister for Defence, Chan Chun Sing, said that strengthening water resilience goes beyond expanding supply, and requires managing demand and promoting responsible and efficient water use across all sectors. He added that this year’s campaign places a stronger focus on encouraging businesses to better manage their water consumption. According to PUB, Singapore’s national water agency, water demand is expected to nearly double by 2065, with the non-domestic sector projected to account for about 66.7% of total use, up from around 55% today. #mothershiponearth #fyp #tiktoksg #singapore
