OPPO has confirmed a global launch for its highest-end smartphone, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra. It will make its international debut on 21 April 2026.
Historically, the Ultra variant of OPPO’s Find X series phones was reserved for the Mainland China market, while the rest of the world could only get up to the Pro variants (like the OPPO Find X9 Pro we reviewed). This release marks a milestone in OPPO’s device roadmap as the first-ever Ultra variant to see commercial release and support beyond Chinese borders.
True 10x optical zoom with Hasselblad
In its announcement, OPPO also teased a major feature of its photography-first handset. The Find X9 Ultra uses a Quintuple Prism Reflection Periscope Structure to cram in true 10x optical zoom on the back. This lens design reflects light 5 times, enabling telephoto shooting without adding bulk to the phone’s slim profile.
