Singaporeans are used to snatching up groceries, but someone else’s meal? That is new.
Content creator Lin Ling posted a TikTok to share a bizarre encounter at Woodleigh FairPrice Finest.
Lin Ling was shopping at the supermarket when she realised that the S$60 red stew chicken hotpot she had tapao-ed was missing. “I just turned around for a moment, and when I turned back, it was gone,” she said.
Or so she thought.
Lin Ling later shared in the video that a staffer from FairPrice Finest had seen a woman in red take her food.
She had accepted her bad luck and was walking away when she spotted a woman in red pushing a trolley, walking away. At that time, she was unsure if that was the same woman who had actually stolen her food.
