In a market already packed with wireless speakers, Samsung’s new Music Studio 5 is trying to carve out space in a slightly different way – by being something you wouldn’t mind leaving out in your living room all the time.
That intent is clear from the outset. Available here since 16 March 2026, the Music Studio 5 is made for someone who cares about how their speaker looks on a shelf just as much as how it performs. The tech giant has collaborated with French designer Erwan Bouroullec on this, and the result is what it calls a minimalist “Dot Design”. When I saw it at CES 2026, I thought it looks more like a decorative piece than a traditional speaker.
