Pop Mart brings its theme park experience to Singapore with pop-up event at Bugis+

Pop Mart has had a heck of a year, with Labubus gaining western popularity and cementing itself as one of 2025’s pop culture icons. But the company isn’t neglecting Asia as it expands its worldwide presence.

Pop Mart is bringing a taste of Pop Land, its flagship Beijing theme park, to Singapore with its first-ever overseas Pop-Up experience at Bugis+, happening from 15 to 26 October.

You can find Pop-Up at the mall’s level 2 atrium, and you probably won’t have a hard time spotting it either, on account of the photo spots featuring three life-sized characters: Crybaby, Twinkle Twinkle, and of course, Labubu.

Being a Pop Mart event based on an overseas IP, the company didn’t miss the chance to bring some Pop Land exclusive merchandise to Singapore. One of the headliners from Pop Mart’s cast of characters is Mokoko, a character that’s typically only found in Pop Land Beijing, if you don’t count resellers.

Alongside the vinyl plush dolls and pendants across different series, there’s also accessories to dress them up with, and lifestyle products such as bottle openers and card holders. Otherwise, there’s also Labubu Hand Puppets as part of The Monsters Classic Series.

Unfortunately, entry to the retail area was registration only, and I mention that in the past tense because the slots for reservation are fully booked. The slots were apparently filled up within the hour that the QR code for registration was posted, at least according to comments under the Instagram page.

If you’re one of the lucky ones who got through, you can only buy up to ten pieces of product in total, with a maximum of four out of the seven vinyl plush exclusives (excluding the Finding Mokoko Series Figures). Children aged 12 and under are exempt from registration and can enter the retail area, but aren’t eligible to purchase.

Still, there’s the Pop Land Stamp Rally, where you can collect stamps from five character displays (three in Bugis+ and two in Plaza Singapura) to redeem exclusive sticker packs at Bugis Junction or Plaza Singapura’s customer service counters.

Additionally, during the promotional period, customers spending S$68 or more at any Pop Mart retail store or at the Pop-Up Store can stand a chance to win a pair of tickets to Beijing, which includes admission to Pop Land (travel dates are between 16 March and 30 April 2026).

You can enter the sweepstakes by scanning the QR code displayed at the payment counter after your payment. If the winner of ends up being someone who didn’t get the chance to enter the Pop-Up Store, it could make for some good irony.
