FIREFRY (@Firefry Singapore)is a recently Halal-certified Grab-n-Go concept specialising in Thai street food like grilled Thai skewers with housemade thai chilli sauce, runny omellette bentos & crunchy Thai Fried Bananas. They invited us down to give them a try, and here are our honest thoughts! Thai Grilled Skewers – an assortment of skewers like Fried wontons, Thai fishcake, but my fav was definitely the Taiwanese Chicken sausage. Their housemade thai chilli sauce had a sweet and spicy base, with a strong nutty note as well. Def get these! Thai Fried Bananas – Crunchy fried bananas (they even have sweet potato!), peppered with sesame seeds in the batter. Omelette Bentos – Jasmine Rice or Mama Tomyum noodles! Personally felt like the noodles needed more of the tomyum seasoning, but I still enjoyed the concept. Mango Sticky Rice – Fresh & ripe mangoes laid on a bed of glutinous rice, served with coconut cream. This was really good too! #fypsg #sgfoodie #sgfoodreview #halalsg
