Overwatch 2‘s Stadium mode continues to expand with new heroes, maps, and mechanics. Gadgets are the latest addition to Stadium in Overwatch 2, and these items add new abilities to each hero’s arsenal.
Gadgets are a new item category in Stadium, found alongside weapon, ability, and survival items in the shop. These give stat boosts just like other Stadium items, but they also come with active abilities that can be activated during matches, ranging from simple things like knockback to game-changing improvements like free heals and cleanses.

Best Overwatch 2 Stadium Gadgets
The best Gadgets to buy depend on your chosen Stadium hero, but there are a few that work well with the entire Overwatch 2 roster.
The best Gadget in the entire game is the Kitsune Charm, which basically gives everyone Kiriko’s Protection Suzu. It’s expensive, but you get to cleanse yourself and get a brief period of invulnerability every 45 seconds. It also gives you 50 Shields and reduces the duration of all negative status effects across the board. It’s incredibly strong.
For tanks, Colossus Core is another strong option. With only a 45-second cooldown, it lets you grow in size with increased Damage Reduction and Max Life (with a minor debuff to damage and healing). It also comes with a baseline 40% Knockback and Slow resist, shutting down crowd control builds on the enemy team.
Super Serum is a great all-around gadget. Every 45 seconds, you can increase your total Attack Speed by 50% at the cost of a minor debuff to damage and healing. Since it also comes with a 10% boost to Attack Speed and Weapon Lifesteal, it fits well into most DPS builds.
On the budget side of things, Field Support is the way to go. Priced at only 4,000, it gives you Soldier 76’s Biotic Field with a 20-second cooldown. The healing zone lasts for five seconds, so there’s only 15 seconds of downtime in between heals.
Gadgets are still new in Overwatch 2, but they’ll end up in more Stadium builds as the community figures out which ones work the best with the strongest heroes. They can be a huge help in the right scenarios, and they can make some of the best Stadium DPS builds even stronger.
