unbothered queen 👑 A fire broke out at Hong Lim Market during lunchtime on Jan. 2. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, thanks in no small part to hawkers and patrons who helped put out the fire. While some diners were seen rushing away from the fire, others were less hurried. Hawker Yuri Teng, who runs Japanese stall Billion Bowls, said she noticed one auntie who continued eating her meal despite the fire. The auntie only left after the sprinklers were activated, taking her plate of char kway teow with her. Teng told Mothership that she did not know the woman and was too anxious at the time to intervene. #fyp #tiktoksg #singapore
