He captioned, “Love doesn’t need long speeches. It’s about standing by each other, rain or shine, offering the truest companionship and sharing life’s purest joys. Dear Mom, happy 70th birthday. May you always be surrounded by love, blessed with good health, happiness, and a life filled with smiles.” Several other celebrities like Stefanie Sun and Zoe Tay have joined in with comments on the post wishing his mother well. According to 8days, this is the first time Lin has made his relationship public after 22 years in his career. Since 2024, Lin has been rumoured to be in a relationship with the Chinese internet influencer Annalisa Qiqi. She is believed to be 23 years old, about 20 years younger than Lin who turns 44 this year.
