Dispatch plunges the player straight into a gripping superhero story, introducing the core characters who drive the narrative. As a narrative-focused adventure, the episode presents numerous dialogue options and critical choices that players must navigate.

While some of these selections simply add color to the conversation, others have the power to impact the main storyline or significantly shape character relationships as the series progresses. Below is a comprehensive walkthrough of the first episode, detailing every significant choice and dialogue option players will encounter in Dispatch.

Updated December 29, 2025, by Waseem Muhammad: The episodes in Dispatch offer a high level of replayability, and one reason to replay them is to retry the dispatching sequences. The calls can succeed regardless of who the player sends, but some are better choices than others. Below, we have included all the calls in the dispatch sequence for the first episode. In addition to this, a new table has also been added at the bottom of the guide linking to the next episodes of this superhero adventure game.

After the episode starts, you will be introduced to Robert, the main character, as he lies on the floor talking to another person. For the first question, you will have the following choices regarding his father:

  • I love my dad.
  • Didn’t know him well.
  • He’s gone.

You can choose any option, as there are no consequences. Continue the conversation until Robert takes the goon out onto the balcony and threatens him with the choices:

  • Let Him Drop.
  • Pull Him Back.

If you choose the first option, there will be no major changes, but you will encounter a slightly different interaction later in the episode.

Next, you will complete your first few QTEs (Quick Time Events) if you have selected the Interactive experience. Once you defeat the enemies, you will hack into a device, which starts the hacking sequence minigame. This is quite a straightforward section where you must move right on the screen and press the buttons that pop up. There will be a point where you must open a path to one data square, then return to open the other path to access the remaining data squares.

Once the QTEs are finished and you find yourself in the security room, you will receive the following dialogue choices:

  • It’s over, Shroud.
  • Prepare to die.
  • I’m here to f*** you up.

This choice will determine which action you perform on the goon ahead. Only a small part of the cutscene will differ, but there are no other changes to the outcome.

You will then have another large QTE section, during which you will get another dialogue option when Toxic tries to explain why diverting the pulse power will not work:

  • Bullsh*t.
  • IGNORE HIM.
  • You’re bluffing.

You can choose any of these options as they have no consequence; simply watch through the rest of the cutscene. You will then have an interview with several reporters where you will have to answer three questions:

  • Do you have anything to say to your fans? (Can go for any choice)

    • I did my best.
    • Thank you.
    • It was all for you.
  • Are you retiring? (Can go for any choice)

    • Pretty much.
    • No comment.
    • Not yet.
  • How disappointed would your dad be if he were here right now?

    • Answer. (+ Reputation)
    • Leave. (Reputation stays the same)

After this, you will go outside, and Robert will be watching the TVs outside a store where some robbers will be loading up items into a truck behind them. You will receive a series of choices here as well:

  • Second Choice: (Can go for any choice)

    • I’m Mech Man.
    • Someone with nothing to lose.

  • Third Choice: (Only the first option lands a hit on the enemy, no major changes in the outcome)

After the part where the robbers start beating you, Blonde Blazer will come up and deal with the enemies. She will look at your arm and suggest fixing it, which gives you the following options:

  • I’d prefer a professional.
  • Have you done this before?
  • I can do it myself.

You can go for any choice, and after this, you will head on over to the bar, where you will have a long conversation with Blond Blazer and will have three dialogue options:

  • First Dialogue: (Can go for any choice)

    • Rough day?
    • That feels like a challenge.
    • Impressive.
  • Second Dialogue: (Choice affects relationship with Blond Blazer)

    • I like helping people. (+ Relationship)
    • I don’t know. (- Relationship)
    • Only thing I’m good at. (Relationship stays the same)
  • Third Dialogue: (Can go for any choice)

    • Sounds intriguing.
    • Hopefully nothing scandalous.
    • A bar proposition?

Once Blond Blazer leaves, you will have an interaction with Flambae and will have two dialogue options:

  • When deciding a name for Flambae: (This does not have a major impact on the story, but is mentioned later in the story)

    • Mr. Wet Ponytail.
    • Dr. Don’t Do Sh*t.
    • Sunglasses at Night Guy.
  • When choosing what to throw at Flambae: (This choice changes the wording of the next dialogue with Blond Blazer and also impacts the cutscene with Flambae.)

Hardest Choices In Dispatch That Will Keep You Up At Night

Relive the gut-wrenching choices that make Dispatch a narrative masterpiece. Which path did you choose, and do you regret it?

With the bar fight de-escalated, the bartender will tell you to leave, and once outside, Blond Blazer will come out and ask you what happened inside:

  • Guy fell down.
  • Extinguished a situation/Got fired up (This changes depending on your previous action)
  • Made a little mess.

You can choose any option, and after that, Blond Blazer will take you to a billboard next to the Hollywood sign, where you will sit beside her, and another conversation will begin. Here you will have multiple dialogue options, most of which do not have any consequences:

  • Option 1: (Can go for any choice)

    • Thanks for helping me.
    • I really needed this.
    • Sorry about the spit thing.
  • Option 2: (Choosing the first option increases your relationship with Blond Blazer.)

  • Option 3: (Can go for any choice)

    • This is an interview?
    • My suit was destroyed.

During your conversation with her, she will give you glasses that Robert will wear, and this starts the SDN Dispatcher tutorial. In the following section, you will have to select a Superhero to dispatch for the call. Every superhero has different stats, so you will need to gauge what the call requires. There is a chance that you might get a low percentage and fail the call, despite sending the best possible option, but that’s okay.

After you are done with this sequence, you will go back home, where you will have the final dialogue option while you are with your dog, and you can choose any choice:
