According to media reports, the shooting took place on Dec. 13 at the Barus and Holley building, which houses the Ivy League university’s engineering and physics departments. The university sent an emergency alert at 4.22 pm local time (5.22 am SGT) reporting “an active shooter near Barus and Holley engineering”, CNN reported. Multiple exams had been scheduled to take place in the building at the time of the shooting, according to the university. Law enforcement described the suspect as a man dressed all in black.
