In celebration of International Migrants Day (IMD), the Assurance, Care and Engagement (ACE) Group under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) collaborated with SMRT to launch the concept train on Dec. 1. MOM said that the concept train is part of a month-long IMD campaign to celebrate the contributions of Singapore’s migrant community. Now in its second year, the initiative highlights the stories of four migrant workers and migrant domestic workers, showcasing their cultural interests and practices beyond their work. “Through this initiative, the public can gain better understanding of the diverse cultural practices our migrant community has brought to Singapore, and learn meaningful ways to connect with them,” said MOM. IMD is celebrated on Dec. 18. #fyp #tiktoksg #sgnews
