Double-decker bus narrowly misses woman who left car door open after stopping on busy road


A driver stopped her Opel car along a busy road outside Lorna Whiston Preschool (Greenwich) in Yio Chu Kang with no regard for oncoming traffic.

Stomper Xu, who witnessed the incident on Nov 26 at about 4.45pm, said the driver stopped her car by the roadside to “pick up a child”.

The passer-by told Stomp that the open door posed “extreme dangers to oncoming traffic” and increased the risk of an accident.
