Genshin Impact 6.3 Leak Claims to Reveal Columbina’s Ability Kit

Genshin Impact 6.3 Leak Claims to Reveal Columbina’s Ability Kit

Datamining for Version 6.3 has officially begun as Genshin Impact players can now enjoy a complete look at Columbina’s ability kit, revealing her as a 5-Star Hydro Catalyst who deals off-field Hydro damage and enables all Lunar Reactions for any team. Out of the entire Nod-Krai cast in Genshin Impact, it’s fair to say that Columbina has been its most anticipated character. As a former Fatui Harbinger, and a Moon Goddess worshipped by the Frostmoon Scions, Columbina has been thematically established as the Archon equivalent to Nod-Krai, making player expectations sky-high when it comes to her ability kit.

An earlier leak about Columbina in Genshin Impact introduced her as fulfilling a similar archetype as Nahida: off-field elemental damage coupled with a powerful area-of-effect buff. However, given its incomplete information, Genshin Impact players weren’t yet sure if Columbina would enable Lunar Reactions on her own. Since only four Genshin Impact characters enable Lunar Reactions (as of Version 6.2), it would have made Columbina far too niche at the time of her debut.

Normal Attack – Moonlit Dewfall

  • Normal Attack:

    • Summons the tides of moonlit waters, performing up to 3 consecutive Hydro-infused strikes.
  • Charged Attack:

    • Consumes Stamina to briefly channel, dealing AoE Hydro DMG.
    • If at least 1 Verdant Dew is available, Columbina’s Charged Attack is replaced by a special, stamina-free attack – Moondew Purge:
    • Consumes 1 Verdant Dew, dealing 3 instances of AoE Dendro DMG, considered Lunar-Bloom Reaction DMG.
  • Plunging Attack:

    • Plunges from midair, dealing AoE Hydro DMG upon impact.

Elemental Skill – Tides of the Everdeep

  • Calls upon the tides of the Moonsea, dealing AoE Hydro DMG and summoning a Gravitational Ripple.
  • Gravitational Ripple:

    • Follows the active character and deals continuous AoE Hydro DMG to nearby enemies.
    • When nearby party members trigger a Lunar Reaction or deal Lunar Reaction DMG, Columbina gains Newmoon’s Omen for 2s, accumulating 20 Gravity every 2s.
    • Max Gravity: 60. Gravity is removed when the Ripple expires.
    • When Gravity reaches max, triggers Tidal Interference based on the most accumulated Lunar Reaction type:
  • Tidal Interference Effect:

    • Lunar-Charged: Deals AoE Electro DMG. Treated as Lunar-Charged DMG
    • Lunar-Bloom: Fires 5 Moondew Marks at nearby enemies. Treated as Lunar-Bloom DMG
    • Lunar-Crystallize: Deals AoE Geo DMG. Treated as Lunar-Crystallize DMG

Elemental Burst – Her Homeland’s Longing

  • Duration: 20.0s
  • Cooldown: 15.0s
  • Energy Cost: 60

Passive Talents

  • Lunacy Beneath the Moonlight

    • When Tidal Interference triggers, Columbina gains: +5% CRIT Rate for 10s.
    • Max 3 stacks.
  • Law of the Crescent

    • While inside Moonlit Domain, characters gain effects based on the triggered Lunar Reaction:

      • Lunar-Charged: Stormcloud attacks interval is reduced by 0.5s.
      • Lunar-Bloom: Grants 1 Mountain Moon Verdant Dew (max 3 every 18s).
      • Lunar-Crystallize: Each Lunar Ward in resonance has a 33% chance to strike again.
  • Moonsign’s Benediction – “Lend Me Your Moonlight”

    • When the party triggers Electro-Charged, Bloom, or Hydro Crystallization, they are converted into: Lunar-Charged, Lunar-Bloom, Lunar-Crystallize, respectively.
    • Also increases base Lunar Reaction DMG for the party based on Columbina’s Max HP:

    • While Columbina is in the party, Moonsign Level increases by 1 stage.

    • While in Nod-krai, when a party member falls:

      • Columbina revives that character and restores HP scaling with Columbina’s friendship level.
      • Can occur once every 100s.
    • Additionally, Columbina seems strangely attuned to certain small creatures touched by Kuuvahki…

Constellations

  • C1: Blooming Plains Beneath Hidden Peaks

    • Casting Tides of the Everdeep immediately triggers one instance of Tidal Interference. This can occur once every 15s. When Tidal Interference is triggered, based on the dominant Lunar Reaction type accumulated:

      • Lunar-Charged: Restores 6 Elemental Energy to the active character.
      • Lunar-Bloom: Increases the active character’s interruption resistance for 8s.
      • Lunar-Crystallize: Summons a Rainsea Shield (Absorption based on 12% of Columbina’s Max HP, 250% Hydro absorption, lasts 8s).
    • Additionally, nearby party members’ Lunar Reaction DMG increases by 3%.
  • C2: Radiant Companion Through the Night

    • Gravity accumulation speed +34%
    • When Tidal Interference triggers, Columbina gains Moonlit Grace for 8s: Max HP +30%.
    • During Moonlit Grace, based on the dominant Lunar Reaction type:

      • Lunar-Charged: Increases the active character’s ATK by 0.7% of Columbina’s Max HP.
      • Lunar-Bloom: Increases the active character’s Elemental Mastery by 0.35% of Columbina’s Max HP.
      • Lunar-Crystallize: Increases the active character’s DEF by 0.7% of Columbina’s Max HP.
    • Additionally, nearby party members’ Lunar Reaction DMG increases by 3%.
  • C4: Clouds Among Blossoms, Shadows Over Stone

    • When Tidal Interference triggers, Columbina restores 4 Elemental Energy.
    • Also increases this Tidal Interference Lunar Reaction DMG based on Max HP:

      • Lunar-Charged: +12.5% of Max HP.
      • Lunar-Bloom: +2.5% of Max HP.
      • Lunar-Crystallize: +12.5% of Max HP.
    • This enhancement can occur once every 15s.
    • Additionally, nearby party members’ Lunar Reaction DMG increases by 3%.
  • C6: Light of the Moon Through Darkened Skies

    • While inside Moonlit Domain, after triggering a Lunar Reaction, for 8s:

      • Increases CRIT DMG of the corresponding elemental damage for all party members by 80%.
      • Effects of the same element cannot stack.
    • Additionally, nearby party members’ Lunar Reaction DMG increases by 5%.

Thankfully, early datamining suggests that not only were both leaks from Uncle Kokomi correct, but that Columbina does enable all three Lunar Reactions by her lonesome – effectively introducing Lunar Reactions for older Genshin Impact characters who happen to be Electro, Dendro, or Geo. Curiously, Columbina can trigger Lunar-Bloom via her own Normal Attacks if a Verdant Dew is available. The datamined information comes from Seele Leaks and offers a detailed overview of Columbina’s Elemental Skill, Elemental Burst, Passives, and Constellations.

Columbina’s Elemental Skill functions similarly to Furina’s: it creates an entity that follows the active character and deals continuous Hydro damage to nearby enemies. Where it differs is that it deals additional Lunar Reaction damage based on which Lunar Reaction was triggered the most across its duration. Columbina’s Elemental Burst is an obvious parallel to Nahida in Genshin Impact: it deals Hydro damage and creates a Moonlit Domain where all party members gain increased Lunar Reaction damage.

Genshin Impact Reveals Version 6.0 Second Half Banners

However, where Columbina’s ability kit truly shines is in its ascension passives. They provide additional buffs to Lunar Reactions in Genshin Impact while characters are inside the Moonlit Domain. Lunar-Charged attacks become faster by half a second, Lunar-Bloom gains three additional dews, and Lunar-Crystallize has a 33% chance to strike twice. Most importantly, while Columbina is on a team, any Electro-Charged, Bloom, or Hydro-Crystallize reaction is universally converted into its Lunar version. This opens Columbina up for more than just Nod-Krai hypercarries.

genshin impact version 6.2 no map expansion content drought

In terms of Constellations, Columbina certainly has a few worth investing in: with her C1, C2, and C4 all enhancing the value of Columbina’s Elemental Skill. As for her ideal teammates, both Flins and Nefer in Genshin Impact will almost certainly want Columbina as part of their team. However, Version 6.3 is set to debut Zibai as a 5-Star Geo hypercarry with a focus on Lunar-Crystallize. As such, Columbina is likely to pair well with Zibai (and Zibai’s dedicated support, Illuga). It is currently unknown which older characters will benefit the most from Columbina, but the sheer fact that she universally enables Lunar Reactions will make her invaluable when tackling endgame content.

Genshin Impact players will be able to pre-farm boss materials for Columbina from the Frostnight Herra, the world boss added in Version 6.1. However, since Version 6.3 is coming with a new map expansion for Genshin Impact, players will need to wait until its release to farm the required local specialties. Columbina is expected to make her playable debut during the first half of Version 6.3, and the patch itself is set to launch on January 14, 2026.
