Today not only marks the beginning of a brand-new month, but Monday is also the day on which Embark Studios releases a new set of Trials Challenges for its smash-hit third-person extraction shooter, ARC Raiders. Week 6 of the Trials system is now live in-game, giving ARC Raiders players tons of new challenges to compete in and earn plenty of rewards and cosmetic items. Players will have one week to rack up the highest possible score for each new challenge before the next set rolls around on Monday, December 8.
As ARC Raiders continues to soar in terms of player numbers, tons of new players are heading Topside for the very first time every single day. As such, there are likely some who have no clue how the Trials system operates. Thankfully, it’s pretty simple and is a fun way for players to earn new rewards every single week. Each challenge has a three-star system that allows players to earn an Uncommon, Rare, and Epic pack, depending on how many stars a player earns per challenge. Trials also pit the community against each other on a community leaderboard. The higher an individual places on the leaderboard, the more they will move up the ranks at the end of each week and thus earn even more rewards, such as cosmetic items.

How To Complete ARC Raiders Week 6 Trials
- Damage Hornets
- Deliver Carriables
- Damage Rocketeers, Leapers, or Bastions
- Destroy Pops
- Open ARC Probes
It’s officially Monday, December 1, which means ARC Raiders players have a new set of Trials Challenges to compete in. Many of which are easy enough for experienced players, such as dealing damage to Hornets, one of the most common enemy types found on all maps. Destroying Pops, which can also be found on all maps, and delivering carriables. However, there are some trickier challenges this week, including one that requires players to damage Rocketeers, Leapers, or Bastions, some of the most deadly enemies in ARC Raiders. For those who are looking to earn three stars in this specific challenge, it’s best to jump into a Night Raid, as ARC enemies spawn at a much higher rate, meaning it will be easier to locate one (or all) of the aforementioned ARC.
Another trickier challenge this week is to open as many ARC Probes as possible in a single raid. Although the actual act of opening a Probe is simple, finding them is the real challenge, as their spawn rate is random. However, if players are on at the right time, they can jump into one of ARC Raiders‘ map modifiers known as Prospecting Probes. During this limited-time raid type, the number of ARC Probes that spawn is increased, which will make this specific Trial challenge much easier. This can take place on four of the game’s five maps, including Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Blue Gate, and Spaceport.
While Trials give players the chance to earn plenty of rewards, many are already growing tired of the repetitive challenges each week. One Reddit user has called the system “absolute trash,” while another has said it needs a complete overhaul. Many have pointed out that Trials is unfair for solo players, as party groups are able to rack up points together, while those playing alone are at a massive disadvantage, thus making it nearly impossible to climb their way up the leaderboard. Others have also criticized Embark for reusing many of the same challenges each week, calling it “lame.”
