A Minecraft Movie 2 and The Simpsons Movie 2 Currently Set to Release on the Same Day in July 2027

Warner Bros. reserved the July date for an “untitled Minecraft sequel,” so the movie may end up called something else. What we know for sure is A Minecraft Movie director Jared Hess returns for the sequel, and he’s on writing duty alongside Chris Galletta. The expectation is Jack Black, Jason Momoa, and co will return for the follow-up.
